I have been feeling pretty down lately. Pretty much since we got back from Ohio. Sure, Ohio is enough to depress anyone, but this is different. Like crying at the drop of a hat different.
I don't want to be the mom today. I don't want to be the cook, maid, educator, moving company, accountant, negotiator, mediator, nurse... any of it.
I want to be Krista who sits on the couch in her pajamas and watches TV all day. I want to eat a whole pint of ice cream for breakfast, maybe some rice krispy treats for lunch and a greasy pizza for dinner. Extra garlic butter, please.
Ah well. I am off to pack some more boxes.
